These terms apply to the Fastlight website. Fastlight is still in development and has no public download or App Store listing at this time.

Using this website

You may browse the site and use its sample search for personal or business evaluation. Do not interfere with the site’s operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site in violation of applicable law.

Product information

Descriptions show the app’s current direction and may change as development and testing continue. The illustrative search is not the live Mac app. We do not guarantee a release date, App Store approval, availability, or that search will find every file.

Software licenses

If Fastlight becomes available through the Mac App Store, the license terms presented with that release will apply. Apple’s standard application license applies where no separate valid application license is supplied. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses and notices. These website terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses.

Your files

You remain responsible for your files, backups, and the locations you authorize the app to read. Search is a convenience, not a backup or a guarantee of completeness. You should only access and index materials you are permitted to use.

Availability and responsibility

We provide the website and product information as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranty that this website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
